Correction of birth time

If you know your time of birth, but it has not been corrected by a professional astrologer, it may be a good idea to have your time of birth corrected.
 
Today it's common that the midwife notes the child's time of birth relatively precisely - at least the time when the midwife actually looks at the clock! But your astrological time of birth may be up to half an hour before or after the time that is noted. 
 
You don't need to know much about astrology to know that the time of birth is important. However, it is common to believe that an approximate time is good enough. Yet when an astrologer looks at how and when influences affect your birth chart, a difference of just 4 minutes in your time of birth would in some cases mean that the timing would be an entire year off. Thus it is very important to establish an accurate time of birth.
 
A correction is especially relevant for you if:
You are interested in what astrology can say about your future/timing
If you suspect that your time of birth is inaccurate, for example if the time is noted in whole or half hours 
If your ascendant (with the given time of birth) is at the beginning or end of a sign, i.e. about 0°-5° or 25°-29° into a sign.
In order to correct your time of birth, I need:
Birthday and year
Time of birth (please note the source of this information and your assessment of its accuracy)
Hometown (and country)
A list of events/ experiences in your life, that you feel have been significant to you. It could be deaths, births, marriages, moves, etc., but it could be anything! What is important, is that YOU think of it as significant events (even after 10 years), and not just everyday events.  
If you are born in Denmark, but do not know your date of birth, you can in most cases order your date of birth absolutely for free at The National Archives. Please note that there may be a long wait.  
 
If you don't know your date of birth - or perhaps not even the location (e.g. in certain cases of adoption), this service is unfortunately not necessarily suitable for you. I have provided the service a few times, yet it demands a lot of ressources to find the right time, and there is no guarantee that the time is truly the right one.
